Praying Mantis on My Favorite Rose Picture
I love roses in almost every shape and size. But my favorite rose pictures were taken while visiting my grandchildren in California. That's when I captured a surprise sitting on this lovely pink rose.
Being a nature photographer makes every walk an adventure. But my favorite walks are with those I love. It is so exciting to here my friends and loved ones say, "I never knew there were so many pretty flowers on this path."
This is especially true when I visit my grandchildren who are spread out quite a bit. Since cost of travel is so I usually travel to visit with them.
On every visit the kids are sure to take grandma on a walk to take pictures. Everyone get's in on the fun of finding the next pretty flower or rose to shoot.
The most fun, though is when we get home to discover something like the praying mantis who decided to get in on the show. He looks like he's looking at us, doesn't he.
