I bought my house because of a garden gate!

I bought my house because of a garden gate I fell in love with!
I started looking for my home in Australia while I was still living in Spain. I saw a picture of this gate with roses over it on a website and loved it. I didn't know the area or anything, but the photo stuck in my mind.

Finally, I arrived in Australia and I had very little time to find a home for myself and my three dogs before I started a new university degree.

Then suddenly I saw the photo in the paper and checked to see where the house was.

Suffice it to say, I visited the house, fell in love with the rest of it - especially the garden and made an offer the same day. This was only 6 days after arriving in Australia!

Emotional reaction to a gate and a rose bush - yes, but I've been really happy in this home.
