The Mayflower Rose

The Mayflower rose,has beautiful English roses, that are borne on a medium pink rosebush, with a typical old rose fragrance. These repeat-flowering roses, form a bushy shrub with very good disease resistance.

These beautiful flowers are medium sized,very typical old rose form,in a light to medium pink rose color. It is a wonderful bloomer that is hardly ever without flowers.

These English roses start to bloom very early in the season, and continues blooming all season. It is hardly ever without bloom all season. This variety of English roses, are a good choice for the front of the border. They also mix well with other garden flowers, and look great when mingled with flowers in a cottage garden.

Not only is this a very beautiful rose, with a wonderful damask, old rose fragrance, but it seems to be completely resistant to black spot, powdery mildew, and rust.

This is a better rose for cooler climates, where it is a very tough, and extremely hardy rose.

The Mayflower rose was named for one of the ships (The Mayflower)that brought pilgrims to America.

This rose makes a nice rose for the garden, and is also a great landscape rose. They make nice cut flowers so be sure to cut some for the house. They are (almost) thorn-less,making them even nicer for cut flowers.
