More about the Sunstruck Rose..

The fragrance on the 'Sunstruck' rose is only mild and a bit of a fruity scent, but don't let the lack of fragrance stop you from cutting the lovely blooms;the roses make beautiful cut flowers.

Part of the charm of these very large, formal blooms, are the unusual  yellow shading on the backs of the petals. The dark green foliage and long cutting stems are also a plus.

The beautiful roses become more intense in cooler temperatures. The bush especially enjoys some light afternoon shade.

The lush green foliage compliments the bloom color nicely.

It vigorously grows 5-6' tall, by 4' wide.

It is quite disease resistant, and a continual bloomer.  It blooms in flushes throughout the growing season.

Deadhead spent blooms to encourage faster repeat bloom.

Parentage; 'Sunset Celebration'  x 'Yoodoo seedling'
