The Sunstruck rose is an apricot colored Hybrid Tea rose. It is apricot/gold with a patterned yellow reverse.
The round,apricot petals are huge, and sit on top of very long stems, perfect for cutting.
The deep yellow/gold blooms are blushed and bordered with apricot/orange. The name for this rose was inspired by the bright yellow veined fan pattern on the petal backs.

The fragrance on the 'Sunstruck' rose is only mild and a bit of a fruity scent, but don't let the lack of fragrance stop you from cutting the lovely blooms;the roses make beautiful cut flowers.
Part of the charm of these very large, formal blooms, are the unusual yellow shading on the backs of the petals. The dark green foliage and long cutting stems are also a plus.
The beautiful roses become more intense in cooler temperatures.The bush especially enjoys some light afternoon shade.

It vigorously grows 5-6' tall, by 4' wide.
It is quite disease resistant, and a continual bloomer. It blooms in flushes throughout the growing season.
Deadhead spent blooms to encourage faster repeat bloom.
