The Stormy Weather rose, is a large flowered purple climbing rose. It has double bloom form, with smoky dark purple petals, with a touch of white on the lighter reverse.
The very center is white, with a patch of golden yellow stamens, that stand out nicely on the darker petals.
The spicy, fragrant roses age to a magenta color. In cooler weather they are a more purple blue color.
The blooms are cupped to flat, with lots of grey-green foliage behind it.
