The blooms on this rose are the classic high centered, Hybrid Tea form, fully double blooms with 26-40 petals. They are exhibition quality, very elegant looking, and quite fragrant. (They are great for bouquets) They have a wonderful scent of cloves and tea fragrance.
The pointed ovoid buds begin a deep coral color, then open to show cream petals blushed with coral/red.
The beautiful flowers come mostly singly, but every now and then the bush will reward you with a ready made bouquet!
The bush blooms in flushes all season from spring until fall, giving you plenty of blooms for enjoying in the garden and for bouquets. Keep the flowers deadheaded to encourage rebloom.
Once cut the roses are very long lasting in the vase.
'Sheer Magic' is a disease resistant variety that is vigorous and healthy growing.
It is very dependable, and laughs at moist, humid, and even rainy climates.
'Sheer Magic' was developed by Dr. Kieth Zary for the Jackson & Perkins company in 1995.
Both parents of this rose are All American Rose Selection winners, so as you might guess, this rose is every bit as wonderful.
