The Secret Rose, is a beautiful Hybrid tea rose that is a blend of pink and white. It begins with pastel colored, pointed oval buds that are a medley of white, cream and pink.
As the buds unfurl and open, the full, shapely, light pink rose blooms have darker, deep pink tones on the petal margins.
The large double blooms on the Secret rose have 26-40 petals, and come singly on long straight stems.
They are your classic Hybrid tea roses with high centers and are suitable for cutting and for exhibition.
The blooms on this rose are attractive in all stages from bud to open flower.

Secret produces it's lovely multi-colored roses with good consistency, repeating well.
The creamy white flowers appear to be dipped in dark pink, making a very beautiful rose.
Sources seem to differ quite a bit on this rose;I'd say this is the most conflicting one to date that I've researched!
Everyone does agree that it is a real beauty, and has a most desirable, strong fragrance, and that it makes a long lasting cut rose. But...
Some sources say that it is nearly thornless, while others say it is a (and I quote) "Very prickly" rose bush!
They can't seem to agree on the foliage either; It is either dark green and glossy, semi glossy, or mid green and leathery.
Do you grow this rose? Won't you take a minute to share your experiences with growing it and/or a picture? We would love to know if it is (nearly thorn less or very prickly) and what the foliage is like!
