I absolutely love rosehips, and they are full of antioxidants that make your skin smooth and combat free radical damage!
Here is a healthy and antioxidant-packed recipe for rose hip honey:
? 1 1/2-2 cups rose hips, cut and seeded
? 1/2 cup unpasteurized honey
Cram the rose hips into a jar and pour the honey over them. Refrigerate for at least 24 hours. This honey should last in the fridge at least a few months. Delicious! Also pair with rose hip tea for an incredible high ORAC snack.
Rose hip tea:
Soak 1/4 cup of dried or fresh rose hips in boiling water, at least 1/2 hour.
The rose hip honey enhances the fragrant and bitter flavor. Enjoy! For more recipes and info on antioxidants, see Antioxidant Buzz
