This Rose Petal Bath Salt Recipe is super easy to make!
If you like making your own homemade recipes, you'll find this one for homemade bath salts as easy as it gets!
I find that after a long day, the best way to relax is a good long soak in the tub. And what better than soaking in Epsom salts to sooth tired muscles. And rose petals? They are said to help you relax with a sense of well being...
What you will Need;
1 Cup Epsom Salts
Petals from one Rose (any color)
4-8 Drops Fragrance Oil (Your choice)
To create these heavenly smelling bath salts, you simply put all the ingredients into your Food Chopper, or Food Processor, and mix for a few seconds until the rose petals are all crushed up.
Don't have a food chopper? I love my mini chopper! It's great for making all my rose crafts! They are very inexpensive!
This easy recipe can be modified to use what ever ingredients you have on hand.
You could use Sea salt if you don't have Epsom Salt.
You can use any fragrance oil you like (I used Honey Rose Oil, and Sandlewood Oil) Two of my favorites.
I wish you could smell how wonderful the fragrance of these bath salts are; The jar makes my whole bathroom smell wonderful!
You don't have to use red roses, any colored ones will work just as well, and give your bath salts a different look.
I like keeping my homemade bath salts in a decorative jar (it's actually a candle holder), because they are so pretty, and have such a fantastic fragrance! You might want to use a decorative jar with a lid.
Just pour a handful into the tub as it fills with warm water, and relax away the cares of the day!
And keep in mind....these would make great gifts!
Caution: Only use organically grown roses from your own garden!
