More Pictures of Red Roses

Including Long Stemmed Roses

Dublin Bay

Lots more Red Rose Images for you to browse. If you're looking to add some red roses to your garden, you'll find plenty to choose from here.

I've put together a list of some of my favorites, as well as the most popular varieties. You'll find the ever popular Hybrid Teas,(many long stemmed roses) Floribunda's, Climbers and more.

William Shakespere

photo courtsey: Antonio Motta. This David Austin rose, is without doubt, the best crimson English Rose yet. That's why it was chosen for the garden at Shakespeare's birthplace in Stratford-on-Avon. Its double blooms of velvety crimson shimmer into deep rich purples and have a fragrance that's unmistakably Old Rose. Each stem contains several deeply cupped blooms with as many as 120 petals that flatten as they open. Highly disease resistant with medium green foliage.

Climbing Blaze

A beloved climber since the 1930s, 'Blaze Improved' still dazzles with generous clusters of intense red blooms set against dark green, leathery foliage. These semidouble flowers hold their color even on the hottest summer days, and they appear profusely on old and new wood well into the fall. Originally known as 'Demokracie'.

Climbing Roses throw long canes that can be trained up posts, arbors, and walls, providing a vertical design element or a stunning backdrop for the mixed border. The canes can be tied horizontally along fences, too, putting their luscious blooms within easy reach for cutting.

Black magic

The buds on this beautiful Hybrid Tea rose, begin as almost black, and open to a velvety dark red with darker red edges. It grows on long cutting stems, with disease resistant foliage. The long lasting blooms are favored by florists.

May be tender in warmer climates!

Imagine it blooming in your garden.

Hybrid Tea

Ronald Reagan

This Hybrid Tea grows tall, and upright 4-5 ft. The bush is vigorous, and well branched.

Blooms are two-toned brilliant red with a white reverse.

Blooms are fast to repeat, and the bush is constantly covered in flowers.

Medium Green foliage / Mild, sweet fragrance

Red Rose Images with a Twist

This tall, vigorous Floribunda repeats all season. Blooms provide a glorious display of colors ranging from yellow through orange and red.

A stunning plant to have in the garden!

Slight apple fragrance.
