Mauve Colored Floribunda Roses

The Poseidon rose bears incredibly beautiful mauve colored Floribunda roses. They are cupped, rosette bloom form roses that measure around  4" across.

The large, very full blooms are rosette shaped, and appear in clusters that come in continual  flushes throughout the season.

The color is a very pleasing shade of mauve.

Poseidon rose is a very healthy  growing rose bush that grows upright, to around 3' tall by 2' wide.

Hybridizer Tim Hermann Kordes 2004 (Germany)

Blooms Mauve, Mauve Blend blooms are 4" across with 50-60 petals cluster flowered

Foliage Light green foliage

Fragrance Mild to strong (moderate) fragrance

Growth Habits Upright, Bushy growing plant grows 3' tall by 2' wide

Hardy Zones zones 6-10

'Poseidon' rose is very disease resistant, especially to Blackspot. It grows vigorously, but upright, so to make a really full looking bush, it might be best to plant 2 or even 3 together.

This rose was introduced in 2010 by W. Kordes Sohne as "Novalis"
