The Portrait rose, are charming Hybrid Tea Roses, with a unique blend of pink colors that make them 'pretty as a portrait'.
The rose pink flowers, have darker pink colored backs. This creates a darker shadow on the insides of the petals as they open. The petals fold against one another in the center of the bloom.
This rose was the first rose to win high honors (All-American Rose Selection) by an amateur raiser.

You will sometimes
get single flowers, but mostly they are borne in clusters of 3-7, on
long strong stems. This makes for instant bouquets!
The leaves are dark green, and glossy. This is a vigorous, upright growing bush with a shapely growing habit. It makes a prominent and beautiful display in the garden.
These pink rose bushes produce lots of flowers. They quickly grow new stems, that produce more flowers, so that the bush appears to be always in bloom. The blooming continues Summer through Fall.
Black-spot can sometimes be a problem for this rose.
No matter where you garden, (zone 6 and above) you will love this one; It grows equally well in cooler or warmer climates.

My Comments: I just love this rose! If it would do well in my zone 5 planting zone, I would grow it for sure!
