Choose one that "fits" the style/color of your garden, and falls within your budget. Keep in mind that this is a garden fixture that is meant to last a very long time. Not only are these lights beautiful and functionable, but they also give you another place for planting. My favorite thing to plant on a post light is one of the beautiful clematis vines

You could put one of the outdoor post lights at the entrance to your garden, or add several along the edge of the garden, or garden path. Sometimes a long driveway will have several down the length of it on one or both sides.
