The Oaklahoma rose are dark red hybrid roses, or tea roses. These red rose bushes are strong, vigorous growers with a very dark red color. Classic hybrid tea form with a sensational scent. If you like red roses, and live in the right planting zone to grow them, these are quite exquisite!

This rose is one of the darkest of reds of the Hybrid Tea roses. It is also very disease resistant. In warmer climates, the lovely blooms darken to be nearly black velvet. Simply stunning red roses set off by the dark green foliage. The parentage of this tea roses are the same as the Mister Lincoln Rose which is another great red hybrid tea rose. Oaklahoma has many of the same great characteristics. The same dusky red color, wonderful old rose scent, and a classic hybrid tea rose! The state flower of Oaklahoma. A great rose for the vase. If you like to cut roses from your garden, these are scensational. Beautiful velvety red color with a heady rose scent, everything you want in a cut rose.
