Mister Lincoln Rose

Red Hybrid Tea Roses

The Mister Lincoln Rose, produces beautiful, velvety red, Hybrid Tea Roses. This Presidential rose, is the landmark in red roses.

These Hybrid roses have fully double, Hybrid Tea form flowers. They are a rich velvet red color, that aquire a bit of a blue tinge as they age.

The deep red texture is almost unbelievable. You have to run your fingers across the smooth petals to acknowledge the beauty of these exhibition form flowers.

The petals of these red rose bushes do not burn in the sun as easily as some other red roses.

If the lovely red color isn't enough to wow you, the fragrance will amaze you! It has a powerful Damask smell, reminiscent of old garden roses, that seduces the senses.

Mr. Lincoln flowers are produced on long cutting stems, giving you plenty of bouquets to bring inside.

For a Hybrid Tea rose, this one is very disease resistant.

Setting a milestone in the history of red roses, Mr. Lincoln has withstood the test of time, as it is still reguarded as one of the best red roses.

These red rose bushes, have better than average hardiness. (this is one that if you really want to try your hand at growing a Hybrid Tea, and you live in a zone colder than say 6, (and you really love this red rose, I say -Try it- but plant it deeper than you should, and give it plenty of winter protection!)

This rose bush is very attractive in the garden. It works really well in the back of the border.
