List of Perennial Flowers

This list of perennial flowers is meant as a guide to help you learn which plants are perennial. Perennial plants, return each year in your garden to repeat their cycle of bloom. These herbaceous, or fleshy plants, grow, flower, and (most often) die back in winter. The roots survive the cold and new growth begins each spring. Some perennials can live for many, many years, often outliving the gardener. (Peonies, and bleeding hearts)
