The cup-shaped blooms are strongly tea scented. The yellow color gradually deepens at the center of the bloom.
This deep yellow shrub rose is one of the most popular of the Austin roses.
It was named for the influential English rosarian Graham Thomas.
It is a hardy bush that blooms prolificaly throughout the growing season.

This was the first yellow rose introduced that actually resembled those old Victorian roses (old garden roses) Until their introduction, the color range for these roses had been limited to red, pinks, and purples.
The flowers are borne in abundance on long arching stems. Stems often bow under the weight of the flowers.
This repeat-flowering rose will grow larger in warmer climates, and can be treated as a climbing rose. It flowers all Summer, and into Fall.
This shrub rose, does not do well in hot/dry climates.
