An organic way to deal with Powdery Mildew is to prevent it with a milk bath.

Pour in a spray bottle and mist on plants until it drips from the leaves.

Repeat once a week with a new batch.

Also useful on garden phlox and other flowers and vegetables (strawberries)etc. that are affected by powdery mildew.

The baking Soda cure.

Mix 1 teaspoon of baking soda, and 1/2 teaspoon of any mild dish soap, with a quart of water. Pour into a spray bottle. Spray the tops and undersides of the foliage (leaves and stems) of your roses.
