These sweet pink roses, have a center of apricot/yellow. The beautiful blossoms seem to fade to a lighter color as the flower ages.
The pink petals have cream colored backs, but the whole flower is suffused with yellow at first, so it appears orange in color, until the yellow starts to fade from the outside petals and the pink predominates.
This rose is full of petals, arranged in an old fashioned shape.
The blooms are surrounded by the dark green glossy foliage, that make them a standout in the garden.
They have long stems, making them perfect for cutting.
The blooms on this Hybrid tea rose are quite large (4-6"). If you live in an area with cooler temperatures, you will enjoy much larger size blooms.
Flowers come singly, but sometimes in twos and threes.
Hybrid teas need to be grown in warmer climate zones, to survive the winter, this one is no exception; zone 6-10.
When it comes to disease resistance; Elle tea rose is very disease resistant, to both Black Spot, and Mildew. The flowering begins in late Spring/early Summer. It blooms on new wood, so prune early to get the most flowers.
