The Carefree Delight Rose has carmine pink single flowers. These Pink shrub roses are very hardy and easy to grow. The small, single petaled blooms of the Carefree Delight rose, have a distinct white eye, as well as a large puff of pale yellow stamens. Flowers are borne on long stems,in large airy clusters (10 -15 florets per stem) that cover the surface of the bush when in full bloom.
This rose was introduced as being suitable for hedging, ground-cover, and massed planting, but it makes an excellent specimen shrub, or used in a mixed border.
The flowers are quite beautiful, up against the background of the dark leaves, that are very healthy. (and disease resistant)

As close to perfect as you will find in a rose! This "very perfect" rose is a great landscape rose. The blooms are small, single, and a lovely pink with a white center and golden stamens. It is almost always in bloom, and is consistent in all climates.
The soft, delicate blooms are produced in clusters of 3-15. They flowers literally cover the bush. This rose spreads a bit wider than most shrub roses.
I grow this shrub rose, and.....
The best way that I would describe this rose, is billowy pink single blooms on a low growing, very healthy looking rose bush.....
The unscented flowers produce orange hips in winter. This carefree rose is extremely vigorous, and can be trained as a small climber.
What exceptional disease resistance this rose has! It is a rose with exceptional resistance to all fungal diseases.
Not only is it resistant to diseases, but it is very hardy, and considered one of the most easiest to grow roses. It flourishes with no winter protection.
If you like single-petaled roses in Pink, this low-growing Shrub rose (Carpet Rose) would make a nice addition to your garden.
I guess any rose that begins it's name with 'carefree', is worth a second look! Especially being so.. hardy!
