The Belle Epoque rose are Hybrid Tea roses of a most interesting color.
The flowers are a pale bronze yellow, with darker petal backs. They are an orange color, with a tint of russet brown and pink.
The combination of these unusual colors makes for a very beautiful rose! You can especially appreciate the color contrast on the Belle Epoque. As the buds are opening, the effect is very clearly seen, giving the flower a two-tone effect, that is like a “flower within a flower”. The hybridizer classifies the color as “Nectarine-bronze”. The flower form is the classical high-centered, Hybrid Tea.
The elegant, conical buds slowly open into lightly cupped flowers. The beautiful flowers appear both singly, and in clusters, and they repeat quickly.
The size of the plant is a bit taller than average, and has plenty of healthy, dark green healthy foliage to show off those gorgeous blooms!
This Hybrid tea rose (Belle Époque), is suitable as a garden rose, a standard, and also makes a very interesting rose for cutting.
